Foreword

This report is the outcome of a study for identification and standardization of sampling and analytical methodology for stimation of Benzene in the ambient environment. The report lakes an attempt to provide information on methods adopted Jr estimation of Benzene and its level in the atmosphere of Delhi.

We hope, the information, contained in the report, will be lseful to those engaged in estimation of volatile organic ompounds and also to those responsible for controlling the problem of air pollution in the country at large and in Delhi in particular.
