Foreword
The Central Pollution Control Board has prepared this report on industry speciflc pollution control status in problem areas namely Korba, Chembur, Angul -Talcher and Vishakhapatnam. The report is primarily aimed at providing information on pollution control facilities available with the industries including review of progress on suggested actions.

Shri H.K. Karforma, Environmental Engineer visited industries covered under problem areas and prepared the present report under the guidance Shri T. Venugopal, Senior Environmental Engineer. Co-operation extended by various i,ldustries and concerned State Pollution. Control Boards are gratefully acknowledged. The typing assistance was rendered by Shri Jagdish Narula, Stenographer.
