Foreword
The Central Pollution Control Board in co-ordination with the Punjab Pollution Control Board has prepared this inventory of large and medium water polluting industries in Punjab. The inventory is aimed at providing ready data on the provision of effluent treatment plants (ETP) by the large and medium industries. .

I am thankful to the Punjab Pollution Control Board for providing useful data for preparation of this report. It is hoped that the document would be useful for the Pollution Control Boards as well as the Ministry of Environment & Forests and others concerned with environmental policy matters.
