Foreword
Assessment of
air quality is an essential pre-requisite for taking necessary measures
for controlling the menace of air pollution.
This report is the outcome of a survey of ambient air quality at major
traffic intersections of Delhi. The report makes an attempt to provide
information on selected primary and secondary air pollutants present
in the atmosphere of Delhi.
We hope, the information contained in this report will be useful to
those engaged in controlling the problem of air pollution in the country
at large and Delhi in particular .
