ENVIRONMENTAL SURVEILLANCE SQUAD

The Environmental Surveillance Squad in the Central Pollution Control Board has carried out surprise check to ascertain as to whether the pollution control systems installed by the major polluting industries are properly functioning. The State Pollution Control Boards have also been directed to take similar action.
