· Ecomark draft criteria on Coir and Coir Products was finalized and approved by the Technical Committee. The draft criteria was notified in the Gazette of India G.S.R. 449(E) dated 1st May 2003 for public comments.

· Public comments on the draft criteria were received, compiled and forwarded to the Chairman, Technical Sub-Committee for clarification and further modifications of the draft criteria for final notification in the Gazette of India.
