- Implementation of project on
Ecocities (under X Plan)
- Draft
Emission Standards for hazardous waste incinerator
- Criteria
for disposal of hazardous waste into secured landfill facilities and proposed
leachate standards as finalized by sub-committee
- Implementation
of CREP recommendations and fixing of Bank Guarantee
- Various
areas proposed for undertaking projects by the utilization of cess funds
- Setting
up of continuous/real time air quality monitoring stations at 16 cities to monitor
air pollution
- Feasibility
study for private participation in continuous air quality monitoring
- National
Air Quality Monitoring Programme and National Water Quality Monitoring Programme
- Policy
on sulphur dioxide emission control from coal-based thermal power plants
- Stack
height requirement for coal based thermal power plants in ecologically sensitive

- Setting up
of an environmental data center at CPCB under Hydrology Project – II
